Micro Dosing is Good For You!
How to make getting your life in order more fun?
Hey Overthinker,
Do you like instant satisfaction, instant motivation, instant food, everything instant? As a generation we are hooked to everything instant as a drug. If we don’t get it, we get anxious. Not to sound like an uncle, I have a solution for it and you probably will like it!

For us to feel good at all points of time we need to create a system that helps us gamify all tasks that need to be completed. I personally treat myself with gifts and surprises at the end of every task. Treating myself as a lab rat, I am currently in the phase of me working on conducting positive reinforcement on myself. On completion of every task I give myself a treat keeping me motivated to do everything on the to do list. Even making a to do list is a task. Hence micro-dosing of Instant gratification is good for us!
Get Your Shit Together:
As an overthinker, you need to take care of three things, mental, emotional & physical health. This week we talk about how to manage everything and keep us motivated to more do better.

The Secret To Micro-dosing
Micro-dosing of instant gratification is what will keep you hooked to completing tasks, and on top of you feeling good about the gratification, you now also have done a lot of work that you wouldn’t have done otherwise.
What do you need to do?
Step 1: Find what gives you instant gratification? For me it is eat a Reese’s cup.
Step 2: Now, make a to do list and realistically but honestly put gratification after certain milestones. I get to eat that Reese’s cup after I have not eaten anything sweet since the morning.
Time for some honesty. You might not be able to complete and execute this on day one but what you need to understand is that trying it is more important than doing nothing.
Gratification is better served after task completion. Gamify your life, make it fun!
